With effect from 1 October 2024, Alexander Steinacher will succeed Horst Rettenbacher as CFO at the long-established Austrian company.

With effect from 1 July 2023, Dr. Markus Nolte has accepted the position as CEO at EMCO GmbH.

Taking into account that we are looking back on 75 years of history, we have good reason to be proud of our achievements. However, managing director Dr. Stefan Hansch believes that the foundation for further innovations is built upon Emco's wealth of experience. 2021/22 was a very challenging financial year marked by Corona, supply chain issues and short-time work. Notwithstanding these difficulties, EMCO could close the financial year from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 with a 24-percent increase in sales, thus recovering the sales level of 2019. We were able to keep our staff in Hallein and are currently looking for new employees to complete our teams in different departments, including Service, Internal Sales, IT etc. From the autumn of 2022, we will also expand our trainee teams, especially those in the area of industrial vocations. Apart from that, we will offer three additional apprenticeships (engineering or mechatronics) for Ukrainian refugees.

In machine tool manufacturing, one of the main preconditions for ensuring productivity and delivery readiness is a cleanly structured production process, with precisely timed production sequences and reliably functioning manufacturing systems. This can only be achieved if the customer and supplier take a common, goal-oriented approach to production chain projects.
