Named ‘Re.Wi.Re – Recycle with Respect,’ this cutting-edge facility is designed to sustainably and safely dismantle up to 21,000 end-of-life vehicles annually.

The 131 MW Tata wind-solar hybrid will produce 300M units/year, cut 200K+ tons of CO₂, and boost RE100 progress for six plants.

The trial phase will span up to 24 months and involves deployment of 16 advanced hydrogen-powered vehicles with varying configurations and payload capacities.

Tata aims to double India’s EV charge points by 2027, enabling 30,000+ fast chargers, launching the TATA.ev Mega Charger network, and introducing verified chargers and a helpline.

The state-of-the-art facility has the capacity to safely dismantle up to 15,000 end-of-life vehicles annually using sustainable and environmentally conscious processes.
