Fives expands combustion activity in India with a new office in Kolkata
Fives’ new Kolkata office enhances combustion activities for metal and pellet industries, deploying Pillard and North American technologies with local expert support.

Fives has opened a new office in Kolkata, West Bengal. This move reflects the Group’s commitment to being closer to its customers and supporting industrial development in the region.
The Kolkata office will focus on the metal and pellet industries, offering advanced North American and Pillard® combustion technologies. A team of 20 experts will be based there, working under the supervision of Fives Combustion Systems, the Group’s subsidiary located in Vadodara, Gujarat. Fives Combustion Systems has played a key role in developing Fives’ combustion activities in India, manufacturing systems for various industries and markets under the well-known brands Pillard®, North American, and ITAS.
“Opening this office is an important step in strengthening our local presence. By being closer to our customers in Eastern India, we support their growth with faster response times, and tailored solutions to their needs,” said Rahul Rajgor, Managing Director of Fives Combustion Systems.
This expansion follows the recent opening of the Fives Indian Service Centre in Sambalpur, Odisha, in June.
