Mia Bökmark Appointed new Vice President Product Management and R&D at Seco Tools

As of November 1, 2022, Mia Bökmark will lead the newly formed Product Management and Research & Development function at Seco Tools. She will report to Stefan Steenstrup, President Seco, and become a member of the Seco Management Group.

Together with the organization, Mia will create a stronger connection to customers’ needs as well as speeding up the development and deployment of new products, services and solutions. One clear aim is to create an alignment with the other divisions within Sandvik Machining Solutions, increasing the back-end collaboration.

Mia holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Prior to her most recent job as Executive Management Advisor in her own company, she has held managing positions within SKF for almost 30 years, including Director SKF Group Marketing, Global Business and Product Development Manager for SKF’s automotive aftermarket, and General Manager SKF Vehicle Parts, Gothenburg.

“I am happy and excited to join Seco Tools within the Product Management and R&D Department. I am looking forward to working with a dedicated team whilst ensuring an open collaboration within the company and beyond,” said Mia Bökmark.
