The greenfield project covers an ethanol distillery with a capacity of 150,000 liters per day and an animal-feed pellet plant with a capacity of 400 tons per day. The multi-grain processing facility will address the growing local demand for both ethanol and animal nutrition. It also aligns with government policies promoting renewable energy sources, including the blending of ethanol with petrol, and more sustainable feed solutions.

“This is an important project, not just for us and the local economy, but also for national and international sustainability targets,” said Rajpal Yadav, Director at K2 Group of Industries. “As such, we knew we needed to involve ANDRITZ, with its proven track record in delivering technologies at scale, process know-how and experience of local market dynamics.”

For this prestigious project, ANDRITZ has full engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning (EPC) responsibility and will leverage its extensive experience from major capital projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

“This project shows how advanced biofuel and feed technologies can strengthen energy security and support sustainable agriculture,” said Pavan Kumar Pawar, Vice President, South Asia at ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel. “We are proud to contribute our engineering expertise, comprehensive solutions, and global experience to help establish a new benchmark for integrated ethanol and animal-feed production in India.”

The value of the order will not be disclosed. It is included in ANDRITZ’s order intake for the third quarter of 2025.
