FORSEE GO 10 BATTERY CLEARS THE NEW AIS 156 INDIA CERTIFICATION

Forsee Power's GO 10 LFP battery solution has received AIS 156 (Amendment 3 – Phase 2) certification. This certification is mandatory for all light electric vehicles in India and is based on the R136 UNECE standard followed in Europe. The AIS 156 certification incorporates the latest and most stringent standards to ensure battery safety and reliability.

Furthermore, the GO 10 battery complies with other rigorous standards such as R10, R136, and UN38.3. This reaffirms Forsee Power's commitment to delivering the safest and most reliable battery solutions to its customers regardless of geographical location.

Decarbonizing India's transportation with the "Make in India" initiative
The Indian government has set an ambitious plan to decarbonize the country, and the FAME 2 program aims to support the purchase of electric vehicles, including three-wheelers, four-wheelers, and buses. Only advanced and safe batteries and vehicles are eligible for incentives under this scheme.

When the program was announced, Forsee Power formulated a plan to establish operations in Pune, and they commenced in May 2021. Initially, the company is targeting the local market for light electric vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. The heavy vehicle market will be addressed in a later phase.

The mass production of batteries for light electric vehicles at the Pune industrial site in India has significantly intensified in 2022.
